To deliver accurate calorie targets and nutrient calculations, we process:
Camera & Images: Food photos captured via camera or selected from device storage exclusively for AI recognition.
Account Info: User ID, email, or guest session tokens used for encrypted cloud backup.
2. Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini)
Our nutritional vision scanner uses Google Gemini models executed via secure Cloud Functions:
Images are compressed locally prior to encrypted transmission.
Submitted meal photos are processed ephemerally and are not used to train public foundation models without your explicit consent.
3. Cloud Infrastructure & Security
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage) with multi-region encryption. Local credentials and entitlement flags are secured with Android EncryptedSharedPreferences.
4. In-App Purchases & Billing
Subscriptions and trials are processed directly through Google Play In-App Billing. We never store credit cards, bank details, or payment credentials.
