Account & Data Deletion

In accordance with Google Play Store policies and GDPR regulations, users of Smart Calories maintain the right to permanently purge their account, profile data, and meal records at any time.

Option 1: In-App Instant Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Launch Smart Calories on your device.
  2. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm. All local entries, profile goals, and cloud backups in Firebase will be purged immediately.

Option 2: Web Deletion Request (Without App Access)

If you uninstalled the application or can no longer access your device, submit a verified deletion request via email:

Please send your request from the email address linked to your Smart Calories account.

Retention Policy: Once an account deletion is initiated, user credentials, meal logs, weight logs, and associated storage assets are permanently erased from our Firebase Firestore and Storage instances within 30 days.
